Understanding Your Dog’s Body Language
Dogs are expressive animals that like to interact with their owners.
If you’re new to owning a dog it’s important to learn their body language cues. Staying in tune with your dog’s mood will allow you to have a better relationship with them, as well as avoid unwanted aggressive situations.
Signs of a happy dog:
Relaxed body posture
Signs of an anxious dog:
Tail tucked between legs
Ears are lowered, not in their natural position
Avoids eye contact with owner or other humans
Signs of an angry dog:
Stiff and tense body posture
Stiff, raised tail
Exposed teeth or growling
